View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting companies to participate in a robot demonstration support project to foster local robot companies and strengthen the competitiveness of the robot industry in the province.
On the 17th, the agency announced that this year it will recruit a total of four companies to carry out detailed testing and demonstration items tailored to each characteristic for robot utilization, commercialization, and business development, and support 75% of the demonstration project costs (up to 100 million KRW).
The main support items include prototype development costs, material costs, software development costs, labor costs, and promotional expenses.
Applications are open to small and medium-sized enterprises in the province that are in the demonstration stage after establishing robot-related service models and completing technology development, either individually or as a consortium.
The agency will accept applications through the EasyBiz website until the 28th, conduct evaluations, and announce the final selection results next month.

An agency official stated, "In addition to this year's demonstration support program, the Gyeonggi-do robot industry promotion support project plans to promote various initiatives such as hosting conferences and supporting participation in exhibitions to revitalize the robot industry and strengthen the competitiveness of local robot companies."
