Sancheong Expo Organizing Committee Accelerates Promotion at Spring Flower Festival Site
Festival Attendees at Gyeongnam Region Venue
The Organizing Committee of the Gyeongnam Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo announced on the 17th that they are intensifying Expo promotion by visiting flower festival sites in the Gyeongnam region during April to engage with visitors.
Starting with the 4th Sancheong Saengcho International Sculpture Park Flower Moss Festival held at the Saengcho International Sculpture Park area in Sancheong, they also visited the Nakdong River Canola Flower Festival held around Namji Park in Changnyeong to carry out enthusiastic promotional activities.
The committee led the promotion with Jun-i and Geum-i, the Expo characters currently popular among many tourists, using placard promotions and photo opportunities to attract visitors' interest and attention.
They actively conducted promotional activities such as operating promotion booths and distributing promotional materials to widely publicize the Expo to visitors attending festivals nationwide.
In addition to on-site promotional activities, they focused on promoting the Expo through official channels such as the YouTube channel Sancheong TV and social networking services (SNS) like Instagram, targeting families and younger generations. In particular, a prize event related to advance purchase certification is currently underway through the official Instagram account (sancheongexpo) for those who pre-purchase Expo tickets, with the deadline set for the 23rd of this month.
At the event, one visitor said, “I saw Jun-i and Geum-i again at this canola flower festival site after seeing them at the Gurye Sansuyu Festival in March,” adding, “I applaud the passionate promotional efforts of the Sancheong Expo and look forward to meeting at Donguibogam Village in September.”
Furthermore, the Organizing Committee plans to continue promoting the spring flower festivals to visitors at the Sancheong Hwangmaesan Azalea Festival, which will be held from the 29th at Hwangmaesan in Chahwang-myeon.
Chairman Lee Seunghwa of the Organizing Committee stated, “In September, the Expo will be held simultaneously with the full bloom of Gujeolcho flowers around Donguibogam Village,” and added, “We hope everyone visits Sancheong this fall to fully enjoy the autumn atmosphere.”
The committee also operated a promotional booth at the Korea Representative Festival Expo held at BEXCO in Busan from the 7th to the 9th, an event hosted by the Korea Local Newspaper Association and organized by the Korea Exhibition Industry Agency, promoting the Expo to an estimated 50,000 visitors according to the organizers.
