China successfully launched a meteorological satellite for weather observation and ecological environment purposes on the 16th.
China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the country's largest aerospace enterprise, announced that it launched Fengyun-3G from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Gansu Province at around 9:36 a.m. local time.
