S-Oil Appoints Al Hizazi, Aramco Asia President, as CEO
S-OIL has appointed Anwar Al Hizazi, President of Aramco Asia, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
S-OIL announced on the 14th that it plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 9th of next month to appoint President Al Hizazi as an inside director. Since S-OIL currently has only one inside director, the appointment of a new inside director effectively means a change in the CEO.
In the announcement, S-OIL described the candidate as "an energy industry expert who has served as an executive at Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil and energy company Aramco, and who will contribute to the company's management, global growth, and development."
