Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) in Vietnam announced on the 14th that starting from June, it will air ‘H?c ti?ng h?n th?t vui (Enjoyable Korean Language Study · Produced by 3IN COMMUNICATION)’.
‘H?c ti?ng h?n th?t vui (Enjoyable Korean Language Study)’ is a children’s entertainment program for Vietnamese children aged 7 to 12, where they learn Hangul in a fun way through simple movements, songs, and games.
This is the first time a program focused on the Korean language is being broadcast on regular television in Vietnam. Expectations are rising about the impact of the Korean Wave, ignited by coach Park Hang-seo, through the airing of this program.
‘H?c ti?ng h?n th?t vui (Enjoyable Korean Language Study)’ will air a total of 13 episodes, including one gala show, every Saturday at 9 a.m. on HTV starting from early June. Vietnamese children will naturally learn to read and write the consonants and vowels of Hangul through the broadcast, as well as understand the structural differences between Korean and Vietnamese.
Along with the broadcast, various Korean Wave cultural contents will be available via mobile services through streaming service cooperation with Korean IT companies.
The role of Korean production companies was significant behind various Korean Wave projects. 3IN COMMUNICATION, the program’s production company, is the first Korean company to directly apply for the program format and handle production with the Vietnamese government.
The cast of ‘H?c ti?ng h?n th?t vui (Enjoyable Korean Language Study)’ consists of three children from Korean-Vietnamese families and six Vietnamese children. The program aims to increase interest in Korea and the Korean language among many Vietnamese children.
