View original imageWoowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok (Baemin), announced on the 14th that it has signed a 'Win-Win Cooperation Agreement for Strengthening Online Capabilities of Small Business Owners' with the Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS).
Woowa Brothers and SEMAS signed this agreement to strengthen the online capabilities of small business owners and promote mutual growth by utilizing the resources of private platforms. They agreed to mutually cooperate in areas such as ▲domestic demand revitalization ▲supporting sales channels for small business owners ▲capacity building ▲policy promotion ▲big data support.
First, to revitalize domestic demand, they plan to participate again this year in the nationwide consumer promotion event called the 'Donghaeng Festival.' During the Donghaeng Festival, special exhibitions targeting small business owners will be held at B Mart and Jeon-guk Byeolmi nationwide, along with special broadcasts of Baemin Shopping Live, a live commerce service. They also plan to promote consumption through delivery coupon promotions.
To enhance the capabilities of small business owners, they will provide educational content from Baemin Academy, a free business education institution, and Baemin Food Service Plaza. They also plan to jointly conduct on-tact education projects in collaboration with SEMAS and Baemin Academy.

Additionally, they will explore support measures for small business owners by linking and utilizing data from private platforms. They plan to participate in a consultative body related to the big data platform and initiate discussions on data provision. They are also considering enhancing the functionality that allows small business owners to analyze their own sales data and expanding the scope of data provided. Ham Yoon-sik, Head of Customer-Centered Management Division at Woowa Brothers, said, "We will take the lead to create a model where platform companies and small business owners can coexist."
