‘Obaek Guksu’ is a project that supports the improvement of dining-related work skills for vulnerable groups and the establishment of an environment for self-reliance through continuous income generation by operating the business.
This project is scheduled to be launched this month by benchmarking successful cases from self-sufficiency centers in other regions.
Meanwhile, YGPA has been supporting the ‘Urban in Smart Farm’ project, which promotes self-reliance of vulnerable groups by producing agricultural products through a smart farm and selling salads made from the harvested crops since 2021. This project was also selected as an excellent social contribution program in Jeonnam in 2022.
Kim Seon-jong, Executive Vice President (Head of Operations), said, “We expect that the ‘Obaek Guksu’ project, which is starting for the first time this year, will achieve successful self-sufficiency and continuous job creation for vulnerable groups,” adding, “YGPA will continue to lead the spread of a sharing culture in the local community.”
