Naver Donates 1 Billion KRW for Wildfire Damage Recovery in Gangwon-do
Naver announced on the 14th that it will donate 1 billion KRW to support the restoration of areas affected by the wildfires in Gangwon Province.
The relief funds will be delivered through Happybean to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association and the Community Chest of Korea. The funds will be used in various ways to support recovery efforts for the damage caused by the wildfires in the Gangneung area of Gangwon Province.
Naver has been participating in efforts to overcome various disaster situations both domestically and internationally, including heavy rains, wildfires, and earthquakes. In February, it donated 1 million USD for the earthquake recovery in Turkey and Syria, and in March and August of last year, it contributed 1.5 billion KRW each to support recovery from wildfires in the Samcheok area of Gangwon Province and damage caused by heavy rains in the central region.
