Aerospace Establishes Representative Image of Goheung

Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) is conducting a contest for the ‘County Slogan Brand (BI) Design’ to develop a design representing the county slogan, ‘Space Aviation Hub City Goheung.’

This contest aims to promote Goheung’s future growth industry, the ‘space aviation industry,’ and establish a representative image of Goheung as a ‘space aviation hub city’ by adding a new design to the existing county slogan for use throughout the county administration.

The contest theme is ‘Space Aviation Hub City Goheung,’ and the phrase must be used in the design development. Entries should be original designs that distinguish themselves from other regional brand designs.

Anyone interested in the development of Goheung’s space aviation industry can participate in the contest, with up to two submissions per person allowed.

To enter, download the application form from the announcements section of the Goheung-gun official website and submit it via email by April 30.

After conducting a nationwide contest, the county will finalize the brand design suitable for the county slogan through a judging committee composed of experts and related personnel, evaluating creativity, suitability, friendliness, readability, and other factors.

Prizes for outstanding works selected through the contest include 2 million KRW for one grand prize winner, 1 million KRW each for two excellence award winners, and 500,000 KRW each for four encouragement award winners. Further details are available on the county website.

A county official stated, “The design selected in this contest will be widely used for Goheung’s representative tourism products and facilities to promote Goheung’s image. We hope for the public’s active interest and participation in developing a fresh design that can breathe life into Space Aviation Hub City Goheung.”
