Gwangju Nam-gu Increases Utilization of Public Data for Private Sector Use
Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is conducting a nationwide survey to promote the private sector use of public data held by administrative agencies and to provide customized new public data centered on user demand.
On the 13th, Nam-gu announced that it will conduct a public data opening demand survey until the 30th to raise awareness of public data utilization and collect residents' opinions on public data opening. A special event will also be held, where 50 participants will be selected by lottery to receive prizes.
Anyone can participate in the survey through the banner on the Nam-gu Office website and the online Naver Form.
The survey questions consist of 17 items across 7 categories, including the purpose of using the current public data provided on the Nam-gu Office website, inconveniences when using the data, types of public data desired for new opening, and what is primarily needed to activate the use of public data.
Nam-gu plans to analyze the survey results from July 1 to 4, reflect them in the establishment of public data opening policies, and additionally open public data desired by users to promote the activation of public data use.
Additionally, during the survey period, Nam-gu will hold an event through the online Naver Form, providing 50 participants with a 10,000 KRW mobile Emart gift certificate as a prize.
The winners will be announced on July 8, and the prizes will be sent by July 12.
