Daehan Green Power Signs MOU with Gimje Suhyup for Joint Development of Solar Power Lease and Sale Project
Daehan Green Power, a renewable energy specialist company (CEO Oh Kyung-won), announced on the 13th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Jeonbuk Gimje Fisheries Cooperative for the joint development of an eco-friendly energy expansion and solar power lease and sale project worth approximately 140 billion KRW.

View original imageWith this MOU signing as a turning point, Daehan Green Power plans to expand its business scope to include solar power alongside its existing wind power generation. In line with government policies emphasizing eco-friendly energy, the company will focus on promoting eco-friendly energy together with Gimje Fisheries Cooperative and actively collaborate for mutual benefits.
The solar power lease and sale project involves the business operator leasing rooftops to install and sell small-scale solar power systems (PV) of 1MW (megawatt) or less. The total project scale is 80MW, making it a large-scale project worth approximately 140 billion KRW.
Daehan Green Power will oversee the EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) and overall project management, while Gimje Fisheries Cooperative will conduct feasibility assessments, credit evaluations for lease and sale customers, and execute project financing.

A company official stated, “Based on this MOU signing, we are making company-wide efforts to improve financial structure and enhance business areas to increase shareholder value, aiming to achieve visible results within the first half of this year. We are also actively pursuing participation in overseas country bids, where demand has recently surged, to expand our solar power business.”
