Yongin City Conducts Food Safety Inspections 'Year-Round'
A public official from Yongin City is collecting distributed products from a large supermarket for food safety inspection.

On the 13th, Yongin City announced that this year, in cooperation with each district office, it plans to collect and conduct focused inspections on approximately 500 food items, including ▲agricultural and marine products ▲meal kits ▲convenient prepared foods ▲diet foods.
The collected food products will be sent to the Agricultural and Marine Products Inspection Center and the Gyeonggi-do Institute of Health and Environment for specialized testing, which includes checks for residual pesticides, heavy metals, iodine, cesium, and antibiotics.
If any violations are found based on the inspection results, the city plans to take administrative actions and proceed with recalls and disposal measures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
