Latest 100-ton Class Patrol Boat, Maximum Speed 74 km/h
On the 12th, the Changwon Maritime Police Station in Gyeongnam announced the deployment of the latest 100-ton class criminal patrol boat, P-122.
On the same day, Changwon Maritime Police held a commissioning ceremony for the criminal patrol boat at the Changwon Maritime Police exclusive pier in Gapo New Port, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon City.
According to Changwon Maritime Police, the commissioning ceremony, attended by about 60 internal and external personnel, was held to mark the beginning of the criminal patrol boat and to reaffirm the determination for a new start.

The commissioned criminal patrol boat is 31.8 meters long and 6.1 meters wide, with a maximum speed of 40 knots, equivalent to 74 km/h.
It will patrol the sea at high speed, responsible for ▲preemptively blocking maritime safety threats ▲crime suppression ▲emergency patient transport, and is also equipped with lifesaving equipment capable of responding to various situations.
