Police Reveal Identities of Gangnam Kidnapping and Murder Victims: Yusangwon and Hwang Eunhee
The identities of the couple suspected to be behind the Gangnam kidnapping and murder case have been disclosed.
On the 12th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency held a public disclosure committee and decided to reveal the age, faces, and other personal information of Yoo Sang-won (50) and Hwang Eun-hee (48), who are accused of instructing the kidnapping and murder of a woman in her 40s that occurred in Gangnam.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency stated, "The suspects conspired in advance with Lee Kyung-woo (36) and kidnapped and murdered the victim in a public place, recognizing the seriousness and brutality of the crime," adding, "We judged that there is a public interest, including the preventive effect against similar crimes," as the reason for the disclosure.
They are accused of instructing the Gangnam kidnapping and murder incident that occurred at 11:46 p.m. on the 29th of last month. It was investigated that they agreed to the crime proposed by Lee Kyung-woo in September of last year and paid a total of 70 million won, including an initial payment of 20 million won.
