Selling 10 Cup Ramen for 9,980 Won
Emart announced on the 13th that it will hold a pick-and-mix event featuring six major categories including fresh food, processed food, and household goods.
In this event, from the 13th to the 19th, Korean melons (5 extra-large, 6 large) will be sold for 9,900 won. This price is 36% cheaper compared to the previous period based on the popular extra-large size. About 500 tons, which is five times the usual weekly sales volume, have been prepared, all freshly delivered directly from Seongju, Gyeongbuk.
The processed food and household goods event, including snacks, alcoholic beverages, and drinks, will run from the 13th to the 3rd of next month, while the ramen event will take place over the weekend on the 15th and 16th. In the snack section, popular snacks can be purchased at an affordable price of around 800 won each. For alcoholic beverages, 11 types of beer are sold at 12,000 won for 4 bottles. For all individual cup ramen products from Nongshim, Ottogi, Paldo, Samyang, and Harim, a pick-and-mix of 10 individual cup ramens is offered at 9,980 won. Prices range from 980 won to the 2,000 won level, and choosing 10 Nongshim Shin Ramyun large bowls is about 14% cheaper.
For 18 types of household goods including body care products, oral care products, detergents, and paper products, purchasing 3 items costs 9,900 won. This is 15-40% cheaper than the usual prices without the event. Representative products include Mamaforest dish soap, Suave body wash, Clean Country wet tissues, and Pigeon Botanic dryer sheets.
