Kim Ki-hyun, the leader of the People Power Party, visited the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 12th and emphasized the 'need for a comprehensive review of regulations and tax systems.'
At the policy briefing session hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry held in Jung-gu, Seoul, Kim said, "We must not let our companies run with sandbags tied to their legs in the global technology hegemony competition," adding, "I believe that the only way for Korea to revive is for the public and private sectors to join forces to revive the fading growth engine through technology development, investment, and innovation."

He added, "Although efforts are being made in the National Assembly, there are difficulties due to the limitations of being a minority party," and said, "Unlike forces pushing various bills to protect vested interests, the People Power Party will devote all efforts to revive the economy and boost Korea's economic growth."
On this day, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry listed legislative tasks that need to be resolved promptly, including alleviating difficulties in corporate investment and exports, rapid adjustment of regulations related to new industries, introduction of mega sandbox, improvement of the separation of banking and commerce regulations, and easing of economic penalties.
Choi Tae-won, chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, "Economy and security are one body, and competition in advanced industries such as semiconductors, automobiles, and batteries is important," and requested, "I hope bold policy decisions will be made." Along with this, Chairman Choi stated, "The Chamber advocates lowering regulations and tax systems to zero (0) level, and through this, introducing a sandbox that can solve not only regional economic issues but also future industries and population extinction problems."
In response, Park Dae-chul, chairman of the Policy Committee, emphasized, "We will innovate various regulations and devise support measures to help revitalize the economy," and added, "We will review the proposals at the policy committee level and create an environment where companies can work properly as much as possible."
