Gangbuk Samsung Hospital Fills Local Medical Gap... Selected for Smart Health Project
Kangbuk Samsung Hospital announced on the 12th that it has been selected for the "2023 National Health Smart Management Project" organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Promotion Institute.
The National Health Smart Management Project is a national research initiative aimed at improving the health management practice rate of residents in population-declining areas, reducing the burden of local government health care operations by utilizing ICT technology, and establishing a sustainable health management service model.
Kangbuk Samsung Hospital plans to collaborate with the public health center over the next two years to promote linkage and demonstration between smart healthcare and integrated care services within Danyang-gun, a population-declining area with a shortage of medical institutions.
The detailed contents of the project include ▲ designing a smart integrated care service linking primary care-based smart chronic disease management and care ▲ building a smart chronic disease management integrated care service platform ▲ demonstrating the smart chronic disease management integrated care service ▲ installing and operating a smart health management center.
Kang Jaeheon, head of the Future Healthcare Promotion Team at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, stated, "Through this project, we will do our best to enhance the self-health management ability of local residents and contribute to the promotion of national health."
