Jeju Air Expands China Routes... "Resuming Qingdao Service"
Jeju Air announced on the 12th that it will operate daily flights on the Qingdao route, a representative tourist city in Shandong Province, China, starting from the 30th. This comes after a suspension of flights for 3 years and 2 months due to COVID-19.
Jeju Air's Incheon~Qingdao route departs from Incheon International Airport daily at 8:20 AM (local time) and arrives at Qingdao International Airport at 8:50 AM. The return flight departs Qingdao at 9:50 AM and arrives in Incheon at 12:20 PM.
Additionally, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, a night flight is scheduled departing Incheon International Airport at 7:40 PM and Qingdao International Airport at 9:10 PM, operating 11 times a week in total.
Qingdao is one of the five ancient major port cities of China, famous for its exotic streets and beer with over a hundred years of history. Before COVID-19, in 2019, about 195,000 passengers flew on Jeju Air’s Incheon~Qingdao route, recording an average load factor of 91%.
Also, starting from the 23rd, Jeju Air will increase the frequency of its existing Incheon~Weihai and Incheon~Yantai routes from 4 times a week to 7 times a week, and from 3 times a week to 7 times a week, respectively, rapidly expanding the air routes between the two countries.

Meanwhile, since the start of the summer season on the 26th of last month, Jeju Air has resumed operations on four routes: Incheon~Weihai (4 times a week), Yanji (6 times a week), Yantai (3 times a week), Harbin (3 times a week), along with the Incheon~Jiamusi (once a week) route.
