Polaris Office secured cash liquidity worth 26.3 billion KRW through the sale of shares in Selvas Healthcare. The secured cash will be used as resources for advancing 'AI (Artificial Intelligence) Office' technology and future businesses.
On the 12th, Polaris Office announced that it had disposed of all 3,157,929 shares of Selvas Healthcare held for investment purposes. Through this sale, Polaris Office recovers an investment amount of 26.3 billion KRW. This represents an investment return four times the book value of 6.6 billion KRW as of the end of last year.
A Polaris Office official stated, "We decided to dispose of shares in other companies to advance AI Office technology, our next-generation core business," adding, "With swift efforts to secure market leadership, we plan to release the open beta service of 'Polaris Office AI' within the first half of this year."
