Two Women in Their 20s Arrested in the Act for Buying Drugs via Telegram
Two women in their early 20s who purchased drugs through the social networking service (SNS) Telegram were arrested by the police.
On the 12th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested two women in their 20s on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
At around midnight that day, they were suspected of purchasing drugs in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It is known that they purchased the drugs using the so-called 'throwing' method. The throwing method refers to a way in which the buyer and seller do not meet directly; the seller leaves the drugs at a specific location, and the buyer picks them up.
However, the preliminary drug test results reportedly came back negative.
