Musical Actor Swings Soju Bottle at High School Classmate Accused of School Violence History
Seoul Central District Court Sentences Suspended Prison Term
A musical actor was sentenced to a suspended prison term for injuring a high school classmate by swinging a soju bottle after being accused of school violence during their school days.
According to the legal community on the 12th, Judge Park Min of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 8 sentenced A (30) to one year in prison with a two-year suspension for special injury charges.
The court stated, "The victim has a large scar on the face due to this crime, and aftereffects are expected, so the degree of damage is not light," but also explained the sentencing reason by considering, "It appears the crime was committed impulsively while intoxicated, and the victim does not wish for the defendant to be criminally punished."
