KHNP Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters and Uljin County Sign Agreement for the '61st Gyeongbuk Provincial Sports Festival Support Project'
Support of 961 Million Won Provided for Successful Hosting
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Beomsoo Park, hereinafter Hanul Headquarters) held an agreement ceremony on the 11th at Uljin County Office with the county and county sports associations for the ‘61st Gyeongbuk Provincial Sports Festival and Support Project for Uljin County Athletes.’

View original imageAt the ceremony, attended by County Governor Byungbok Son, Chairman Seongyeol Joo of the County Sports Association, and Beomsoo Park of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, Hanul Headquarters agreed to support 700 million KRW for opening and closing ceremony expenses and 261 million KRW for team uniforms and transportation buses for the Uljin County athletes and cheering squad.
Governor Byungbok Son expressed his gratitude, saying, “Escaping from the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be a meaningful occasion as Hanul Headquarters supports the event held in Uljin for the first time in 12 years.”
Following this, Head Beomsoo Park said, “We are very pleased that Hanul Headquarters can contribute to the hosting of the 61st Gyeongbuk Provincial Sports Festival,” adding, “We expect that this event will elevate the status of Uljin County to a higher level, and we will actively support the successful hosting of the festival.”

The 61st Gyeongbuk Provincial Sports Festival will be held over four days from the 21st to the 24th throughout Uljin County, with about 13,000 participants including athletes and officials from 23 cities and counties, competing in 30 city and 16 county sports events.
