Ulsan Office of Education, 1st Comprehensive Survey on School Violence Status
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct a school violence survey to establish measures for preventing and responding to school violence.
The Ulsan Office of Education announced that it will conduct the first 2023 school violence survey by May 10, targeting all students from 4th grade in elementary school to 3rd grade in high school.
The survey period covers from the start of the second semester of last year up to the time of the survey. The questions consist of students' experiences and perceptions related to school violence, including witnessing, victimization, and perpetration.
Students can participate at any time during the period using not only PCs but also mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
This survey is also provided in eight languages?Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, and Russian?to assist multicultural students' participation.
For elementary students, the survey questions are separated from those for middle and high school students and use simpler terms. Specific examples are also provided.
Students who participate in the survey will also watch an educational video on school violence prevention.
