Incheon Airport Corporation Hosts 'Sangju Company Recruitment Day' Event
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 11th that it will hold the 'Incheon International Airport Resident Companies Recruitment Day' event targeting ground handling and commercial facility sectors at the Aviation Job Support Center on the 4th floor of Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport for five days from the 17th to the 21st.
'Resident Companies Recruitment Day' is a customized recruitment event jointly hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Incheon International Airport Corporation, Korea Airports Corporation, Korea Aviation Association, Ministry of Employment and Labor, and Incheon Metropolitan City. This event was planned as a large-scale event with about 600 recruitment positions over five days to support ground handling and commercial facilities sectors, which have recently been experiencing recruitment difficulties.
A total of 30 companies in the ground handling and commercial facility sectors at Incheon Airport, including AACT, UNIS, and Pulmuone Food & Culture, will participate in this event (20 ground handling companies and 10 commercial facility companies). Approximately 604 people will be hired through on-site interviews in fields such as ▲ground handling ▲in-flight meal setting ▲hotel ▲food and cooking.
Any job seeker under the age of 60, including youth, middle-aged people, and women with career interruptions, can participate. Job seekers who wish to be hired can bring their resumes and self-introduction letters and visit the site on the day of the event to have an interview.
The event will be held daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from the 17th to the 21st. Since there are many participating companies and recruitment numbers, it will be divided into two sessions: Part 1 (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and Part 2 (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.).
Details related to the event, such as the list of participating companies, job introductions, and daily participating companies, can be found in the notices on the Aviation Job Portal.
In addition, to support recruitment for resident companies, the corporation plans to hold the 'Incheon Airport Related Companies Recruitment Support Dedicated Personnel Job Training' jointly with Incheon Metropolitan City and the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office at the corporation's Talent Development Center on the 14th.
During this job training, understanding of the current job status and major issues at Incheon Airport will be enhanced, and plans to expand and operate a job cooperation network within Incheon Airport in the future will also be discussed.
The 'Incheon Airport Related Companies Recruitment Support Dedicated Personnel' is a consultative body jointly formed in July 2022 by the corporation, Incheon Metropolitan City, employment centers, and 24 related job agencies. Last year, through recruitment support activities targeting 197 airport-related recruiting companies and 3,239 job seekers, a total of 1,036 people were successfully employed.
