Gwangju Bitgoeul 50+ Center, Launches 1st Cohort of Shining Social Participation Project
Gwangju Metropolitan City Bitgoeul 50+ Center announced on the 10th that it has launched the first session of the Shining Social Participation Project, an easy-to-follow online entrepreneurship education program for the middle-aged.
The project was created to provide free lifelong vocational programs for the middle-aged to prepare for the 100-year life era, enabling a meaningful second leap in life and happy retirement preparation. It offers education on retirement, old-age planning, economic education, and technical training linked to reemployment and entrepreneurship.
The education program recruits middle-aged citizens aged 45 to 64 who are interested in employment and entrepreneurship by inviting experts. It will be held every Tuesday until June 5th at the Bitgoeul 50+ Center's 3rd-floor auditorium, consisting of a total of 8 sessions.
The curriculum includes entrepreneurship procedures and methods for prospective entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship trends and prospects, discovery of business items, introduction to patents, trademark management and subsidies, analysis of business location conditions, lease protection laws that prospective entrepreneurs should know, easy-to-follow preparation procedures, and a 50+ specialized counseling event for job seekers and entrepreneurs.
