This new startup support model in the arts sector is designed to help create a stable creative environment for young artists and to encourage young artists and cultural arts planners to establish companies that generate economic and social value.
Participants in 'Arts Plus Startup' can attend a total of 10 weekly lectures free of charge. Among them, 15 outstanding participants will receive various benefits necessary for preparing startups, including an activity support fund of 3 million KRW and intensive mentoring.
The first phase of the project, 'Basic Clinic,' will provide foundational entrepreneurship education every Thursday at 7 PM from May 27 to June 29. It consists of lectures where participants learn the basic concepts and core theories of entrepreneurship and examine real-world cases of cultural and artistic startups, as well as workshops where they can develop individual startup ideas and draft business plans. Participants who complete more than 60% of the 'Basic Clinic' will be given the opportunity to present their ideas.
The second phase, 'Business Clinic,' will be conducted over 8 weeks starting in June for 15 selected individuals (teams) from the idea presentations. Participants will receive 1:1 intensive mentoring tailored to their individual ideas and an activity support fund of 3 million KRW. Among them, those who submit and present outstanding business plans at the 'SAPY Festa' to be held in October will be finally selected, and 5 individuals (teams) will receive additional startup support funds.
