Goseong County in Gyeongnam awarded commendations to honor the efforts of reservists on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Reserve Forces.
On the 7th, the county held a ceremony in the county governor's office to commend eight individuals in recognition of their dedication as reservists working on the front lines of local defense, marking the 55th anniversary of the Reserve Forces.

Goseong County supports the improvement of equipment and facilities for local reservists in line with the changing security environment, such as establishing an integrated control center video sharing system, and holds quarterly integrated defense councils to strive for regional security.

County Governor Lee Sang-geun stated, “In a severe security environment with increasing North Korean missile provocations, the role of the Reserve Forces, a major pillar of our local defense, is more important than ever,” adding, “We will strengthen the regional integrated defense posture through cooperation among civilians, government, military, police, and fire services.”
