Busan Office of Education Strengthens 'One-stop Support' for School Sites
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is launching the establishment of a One-stop interactive support system between schools and education (support) offices to strengthen user-centered school support that reflects the voices from the field.
On the 10th, Busan Office of Education announced that it has revamped the school support administrative service website, "Busan School Support Service (BSSS)."
Launched in 2019, the "Busan School Support Service" is a communication platform for applying for support projects and field monitoring at schools, accessible efficiently via a banner on the work portal.
With this initiative, the Office of Education has redesigned the overall website, including the main screen and menu structure, to align with the perspective of school users, enabling prompt support for school sites.
The Office of Education revamped the main screen with intuitively organized menus so that school users can conveniently use the services. Frequently used menus by users are placed on the main screen as shortcuts.
The website consists of four menus: ▲ "School Support Plaza," which supports school educational activity personnel and document support, personnel pool management, and school facility management; ▲ "Workload Reduction Plaza," which handles applications and results of education (support) office projects; ▲ "Help Plaza," which supports the work efficiency of faculty and staff; and ▲ "Sharing Plaza," an open window for interactive services.
This year, the Office of Education plans to establish permanent communication channels reflecting field voices by creating the "Teacher Workload Reduction Suggestion Room" and "School Support Service Suggestion Room" within the website.
Additionally, in the first half of this year, a "(tentative name) Teacher Workload Reduction Support Group Plaza" will be established to build an expert support group matching system to resolve teachers' issues such as infringement of teacher rights, complaints, and class management.
Events to monitor and promote the use of the revamped website will also be held. Faculty and staff who write reviews on the website's open bulletin board by the 21st will be entered into a draw to receive small prizes.
