New COVID-19 Cases at 4,005... About 300 Fewer Than Last Week (Update)
The Central Disease Control Headquarters reported that as of midnight on the 10th, there were 4,005 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 30,918,060.
The number of new cases decreased by 5,548 from the previous day (9,553) due to the weekend effect. Compared to a week ago on the 3rd (4,349 cases), it decreased by 344. Despite the removal of indoor mask mandates on public transportation and other places on the 20th of last month, the COVID-19 outbreak has remained relatively stable for a considerable period.
Among the new confirmed cases, 8 were imported from overseas.
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized remained unchanged at 127 from the previous day.
