Police Pursuing Man in His 50s Demanding Money with a Knife in Jayang-dong, Seoul
The police are pursuing a man in his 50s who threatened a passerby with a weapon and demanded money before fleeing.
On the 10th, the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul announced that they are tracking a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on charges of robbery and injury.
According to the police, around 11:15 a.m. the previous day, Mr. A allegedly threatened a man in his 30s, Mr. B, with a weapon on a street in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, demanding money and valuables.
It is reported that Mr. A opened the rear door of a driver's vehicle who was resting after parking and brandished a weapon. Mr. A demanded 50,000 won, but when Mr. B refused, a physical struggle ensued.
During the resistance, Mr. B sustained injuries including to his neck. After the struggle, Mr. A fled the scene.

A police official stated, "We are currently pursuing the suspect," and added, "The exact details of the crime will be determined after the arrest."
