Previously, the county agreed to collaborate with Hyundai Engineering, an affiliate of Hyundai Motor Group, to expand electric vehicle infrastructure. They jointly applied as a consortium for the Ministry of Environment's regional zero-emission vehicle transition brand project, a public contest for the concentrated supply of electric vehicle chargers, and signed this business agreement to successfully promote the project.
A Hyundai Engineering official stated, “This project was promoted as part of social contribution to transportation-vulnerable areas through the Ministry of Environment’s public contest project. We will actively cooperate to resolve inconveniences for electric vehicle users by installing additional chargers where needed in the future.”
