GH, Resumption of Cafeteria Closure System... Expectation for Revitalization of Local Businesses
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is resuming the temporary closure system of its cafeteria, which had been suspended due to COVID-19.
GH has been implementing the 'Cafeteria Closure System,' closing the cafeteria on the first Friday of every month since January 2017 to encourage the use of nearby small business restaurants. However, this was temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
GH explained that it decided to resume the closure system following the recent lifting of social distancing measures.
Accordingly, GH started implementing the system again from the 7th of this month. GH plans to consider expanding the system in the future based on feedback from internal employees and the local commercial district.
