World Health Day is a legally designated commemorative day established to celebrate the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO) and to raise public health awareness as well as to encourage workers in the health care and welfare sectors. The theme for World Health Day is set annually by the WHO, and South Korea has proposed the slogan "A Healthy Nation for All, a Happy Republic of Korea" for World Health Day.
