Handonghun "I Like That People Will Probably Look Up the Entire Q&A Process After Reading the Webtoon"... Also Targets Hwang Unha's Past Drug Remarks
Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon is entering the Busan Prosecutors' Office Complex in Yeonje-gu, Busan, on the morning of the 7th while responding to questions from the press. On the same day, Minister Han visited the Busan High Prosecutors' Office and District Prosecutors' Office as part of his policy field visit schedule.

On the morning of the 7th, as Minister Han entered Busan High and District Prosecutors' Office in Yeonje-gu, Busan for a policy field visit, he responded to reporters' questions about the webtoon by saying, "Since I am a public figure, I think it is okay to be the subject of satire."
He continued, "If the questions asked to me are correct and my answers are wrong, I don't think I would run to the radio for an after-party without rebutting in the National Assembly when I am not there," adding, "It's surprising how much interest the Democratic Party members have in me."
Minister Han said, "In the past, if the political circles distorted and circulated such things, the public might have judged based only on those, but now they watch the entire Q&A process vividly on YouTube," and added, "Rather, I think it’s good that such content comes out so that the public can look up the entire conversation process once again."
Recently, a webtoon titled "Han Dong-hoon Goes to the Convenience Store," which satirizes Minister Han's speaking style, rapidly spread mainly through opposition-leaning online communities, becoming a hot topic.
Meanwhile, on the same day, in response to a question related to drug crimes, Minister Han said, "Would we want to become a country where parents tell their children to be careful of drugs when sending them to school?" and added, "If drugs have only increased about fivefold, responding as if the prosecution should not investigate drug crimes will lead to such a country."
Minister Han’s remarks appear to target the "only fivefold" comment made by Democratic Party lawmaker Hwang Un-ha last November regarding the actual situation of drug detection.
Lawmaker Hwang, who had led efforts to amend laws such as removing drug crimes from the scope of police and prosecution investigation rights and the crimes prosecutors can initiate investigations on, appeared on MBC Radio’s "Kim Jong-bae’s Focus" on November 9 last year and said about the trend of increasing drug crimes, "It has only increased fivefold in five years," and added, "For the president and the Minister of Justice to declare a war on drugs based on this seems to have impure intentions."
At that time, when asked by the host whether the fivefold increase could be described as "only," Lawmaker Hwang replied, "A fivefold increase in five years is not at a level to declare a war on drugs."
Recently, a shocking incident occurred in the academy district of Daechi-dong, Gangnam, where high school students were given and made to drink beverages containing drug substances, known as the "drug beverage" incident.
