Dong-A University Signs MOU with the Vietnam-Korea Chamber of Commerce 'Kocham'
Dong-A University signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, 'KOCHAM,' to foster global professionals.
The signing ceremony, held recently at the KOCHAM office in Vietnam, was attended by Dong-A University President Lee Hae-woo, Director of External and International Affairs Park Hyun-tae, Director of Admissions Shin Sang-moon, officials from the International Exchange Department, KOCHAM Chairman Hong Seon, Vice Chairmen Jang Soon-bong and Han Chang-woo, and Secretary-General Yang Ji-young.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will share international exchange information and promote various cooperative projects to cultivate global talent and support their local employment.

View original imageAt the signing ceremony, President Lee Hae-woo stated, “There are many talented students among Dong-A University’s Vietnamese international students,” adding, “We are actively implementing various programs to strengthen the global competitiveness of international students, including their employment capabilities.”
Chairman Hong Seon said, “We hope to provide Vietnamese students, who will play a leading role in the active economic exchange between Korea and Vietnam, with opportunities to study in Korea and that this will greatly benefit the relationship between the two countries.”

During his visit to Vietnam, President Lee also visited Korean companies operating locally, including Samsung R&D Center, Hyosung TNS, Daewoo E&C VINA, Lotte Center, Woori Bank, and Busan Bank, to promote outstanding international student talent and discuss various measures to cultivate talent that meets corporate demands.
