This initiative was supported by Good Neighbors Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters and Gwangju Metropolitan City Urban Corporation.
Choi Kang-nim, director of the Regional Children's Center Gwangju Support Group, stated, "Since the insole sanitary pad incident in 2016, seven years have passed, and although more children have received support, there are still many children in need of help," adding, "To prevent an increase in marginalized female adolescents at regional children's centers, community interest is necessary."
