"From Exhibitions to Snapshots" Hotels Welcoming Spring with Unique Events
Spring Without Masks, Focus on Unique Experiences
Various Activities Including Snap Photography, Art Viewing, and Following Flower Paths
With the arrival of spring without masks and a significant increase in outdoor activities, the hotel industry is preparing various events focused on unique experiences rather than just 'quiet staycations.' These include programs where guests can take snap photos capturing the warm spring sunlight at hotel 'photo spots,' exhibitions of comforting and soothing artworks, and providing flower maps featuring nearby spring flower attractions.
According to the hotel industry on the 7th, The Shilla Seoul and The Shilla Jeju are offering a service where professional photographers capture travel memories and present them in an album. The Shilla Seoul has launched the 'Our Memories' package, which includes a snap photography service. Customers using Our Memories can check in early at 12 PM and consult with a professional photographer to decide on the shooting locations and compositions. Then, they proceed with about 30 minutes of shooting at 2 to 3 agreed-upon locations. Popular shooting spots include the rear garden of the State Guest House, which beautifully showcases traditional Korean aesthetics, and the second floor of the main hotel building where the chandelier artwork 'Combination' by artist Park Sun-ki is prominently visible. The sculpture park, featuring various artworks, is also ideal for capturing natural dating scenes. Shooting locations can be selected in consultation with the photographer according to the desired concept.
The photos taken are retouched and provided in a mini album format at checkout, including one 5×7 framed photo and three 5×7 prints. Upon customer request, the photo files can also be sent via email. The Our Memories package consists of a one-night stay, snap photography service for two, admission for two to Urban Island All Day, one Shilla Bear from the Year of the Rabbit edition, and an early check-in benefit at 12 PM to prepare for the shoot. This package is available until May 31.
The Shilla Jeju offers the 'Memorable Moment Photo' event. This free event captures precious moments of commemorative trips on canvas frames at recommended photo spots around The Shilla Jeju by leisure expert G.A.O. It is open for any special occasion such as prenatal trips, wedding anniversaries, three-generation family trips, or birthday trips, and participation is possible through advance reservation via G.A.O. for staying guests. The Memorable Moment Photo session takes about 20 minutes from meeting the professional photographer to shooting one cut, and a commemorative photo printed on canvas is provided at checkout. The event runs until April 30.
