View original imageThe ‘Youth Social Entry Activity Support Project’ is a program that issues Didimdol Cards to unemployed youth aged 18 to 34 residing in Busan with a household income at or below 150% of the median income, providing them with usable points to help them focus on job-seeking activities.
For this second phase, similar to the first, 500 participants will be selected and supported with up to 3 million KRW (up to 500,000 KRW per month) from June to November.
The points provided can be used not only for direct job-seeking expenses such as certification acquisition, exam fees, academy fees, and textbook purchases but also for indirect job-seeking expenses like meals, transportation, and stationery purchases.
However, usage is restricted in certain sectors unrelated to job-seeking activities, such as bars, liquor stores, jewelry shops, and pet-related businesses. Cultural expenses can be used up to 50,000 KRW per month, and an additional 500,000 points will be granted if early employment or entrepreneurship occurs within four months of the project period.
This year, the household income criteria have been subdivided from the previous 5 levels to 10 levels, and for user convenience, some application documents such as the health insurance payment confirmation will be replaced by collective verification by the corporation, simplifying the required documents from 10 types to 6.
Youth aged 18 to 34 who wish to participate must apply online through the Didimdol Card website from today until 6 p.m. on April 17. Busan City plans to complete candidate selection in May and conduct preliminary training.
