Busan Citizen Library Operates Author Lectures Visiting Schools
Busan Metropolitan City Library will operate the 'Author Lectures Visiting Schools' program for 12 local elementary, middle, and high schools from April to June.
This program aims to increase students' interest and enthusiasm for reading by allowing them to meet and communicate directly with various authors.
Children's and youth book authors will visit participating schools to share stories related to their works, such as the profession of being an author, the creative process of the selected theme books, and hidden stories within their books.
Additionally, there will be sincere conversations with students about reading and writing, and author autograph sessions are also planned.
A total of 10 authors, including Kwon Hyukdo, Kim Gyuah, Kim Mihui, Bang Mijin, So Yoonkyung, Ok Hyojin, Eun Sohol, Lee Ruri, Lee Heeyoung, and Chu Jeongkyung, will participate in the event.
Schools wishing to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 6th through the 'Library Going to Schools' website. For other inquiries, contact the Lifelong Learning Division of the Citizen Library.
