Application by April 21, 170 Million KRW Scale
Social Welfare Public Interest Support, Over 10% Self-Payment Required
Ulsan City is launching the second round of welfare promotion project applications this year.
On the 6th, Ulsan City announced that it is accepting applications for the "2023 2nd Welfare Promotion Public Project" to revitalize public welfare-related projects and support the activities of social organizations.
The support scale for this round is 170 million KRW, which is the amount remaining after excluding the first round support fund of 285 million KRW from the total annual budget of 455 million KRW.
The public project covers social welfare-related projects such as welfare planning, childbirth and childcare, child welfare, child protection, livelihood security, elderly, veterans, disabled, women, family, and youth. Subsidies are up to 50 million KRW per project, and applicants must bear at least 10% of the total project cost as self-funding.
Eligible applicants are social welfare-related corporations or organizations whose support regulations are stipulated by law or city ordinances and whose primary purpose is public interest activities.
Applicants must have at least one year of public activity experience, and if the applicant is an organization rather than a corporation, it must have a representative or manager.
However, organizations that have received national or city funding for the same or similar projects, those supported by corporations or political parties, or organizations whose primary purpose is the propagation of specific religious doctrines are excluded.
Organizations wishing to apply must submit the application form, project plan, and subsidy recipient introduction by April 21, either by visiting or mailing to the Welfare and Women’s Affairs Bureau department responsible for the project they wish to apply for.
