New COVID-19 Cases 12,084...1,052 More Than a Week Ago (Update)
The Central Disease Control Headquarters reported that as of midnight on the 6th, there were 12,084 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 30,883,824.
The number of new cases decreased by 2,381 compared to the previous day (14,465), but increased by 1,052 compared to a week ago on the 30th of last month (11,032).
Compared to a week ago, the number of confirmed cases has been rising for seven consecutive days since the 31st of last month.
Among the new confirmed cases, 12 were imported from overseas.
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized increased by 10 from the previous day to 136.
