50s Tenant Who Attacked Landlord with Weapon Arrested in the Act
A tenant who wielded a weapon at the landlord's residence was arrested by the police.
On the 6th, the Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on suspicion of attempted murder at around 6:30 PM the previous day.
According to the police, tenant Mr. A is accused of wielding a weapon at a multi-family house in Sinwol-dong, Yangcheon-gu, where the landlord, a woman in her 60s, Ms. B, resides.
The victim, Ms. B, sustained minor injuries, and Mr. A is currently detained in a holding cell.

A police official stated, "The motive and circumstances of the crime are under investigation," adding, "We are also considering whether to apply for an arrest warrant."
