The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 5th that it has decided to disclose the names, ages, and faces of three individuals suspected of kidnapping and murdering a woman in Gangnam.
The Seoul Police held a disclosure committee and decided to reveal the personal information of Lee Kyung-woo (36), Hwang Dae-han (36), and Yeon Ji-ho (30).
The Seoul Police stated, "The suspects meticulously planned the crime for several months and kidnapped the victim in a public place before murdering her, recognizing the seriousness and brutality of the crime," explaining the reason for the disclosure.
They further explained that arrest warrants have been issued for the three, there is sufficient evidence, and it was judged that there is a public interest such as the preventive effect against similar crimes.
