Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Launches Wildfire Prevention Campaign for Arbor Day
On the 4th, the Gwangju Northern Fire Station announced on the 5th that firefighters and volunteer firefighters conducted a wildfire prevention campaign on a hiking trail near Mudeungsan Mountain.
This wildfire prevention campaign was promoted near the Wonhyosa Temple hiking trail in Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, during the Cheongmyeong and Hansik special alert period, ahead of Arbor Day, to raise awareness of the risk of wildfires occurring in various places and to urge caution.
About 25 firefighters and volunteer firefighters participated, focusing on tree planting, picking up trash on hiking trails, and wildfire prevention publicity activities targeting hikers.
