Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Awards Honorary Doctorate to Park Byung-cheol, Chairman of Everest Trading
Hankuk University of Foreign Studies announced on the 3rd that it will award an honorary Doctorate in Business Administration to Park Byung-chul, Chairman of Everest Trading (International Trade '67).
Chairman Park founded Everest Trading in 1982 and has grown it into a global bag brand that manufactures, wholesales, and distributes over 120 types of bags for various uses. He has served as President of the Southern California Trade Association and Chairman of the World Korean Trade Association.
The event was attended by Park Jung-woon, President of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Kim Hyung-oh, former Speaker of the National Assembly, and Noh Taek-seon, Dean of the Graduate School. The Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Southern California Alumni Association also participated online to congratulate Chairman Park on his honorary doctorate.
