Korail Gwangju Jeonnam 'Proper Elevator Riding' Campaign
Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters announced on the 3rd that it recently conducted a safety campaign for proper elevator use.
With the lifting of the public transportation mask mandate and the increase in tourists during the spring outing season, this campaign was organized to prevent major civic disasters.
At the end of last month, KORAIL Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters, together with the Korea Elevator Safety Corporation, carried out activities at KTX Gwangju Songjeong Station using banners, placards, and promotional materials to promote compliance with elevator safety rules and establish a safety culture.

A KORAIL official stated, “Through promotional activities emphasizing proper elevator use, such as holding the handrail when using escalators and not walking or running, we expect this to help prevent safety accidents by spreading a culture of safety practice and raising awareness among elevator users.”
