Ulju-gun, Prepares 1st Supplementary Budget Proposal of 1.3071 Trillion Won
15% Increase from Initial Budget, Up by 170.4 Billion KRW
Ulsan Ulju-gun has prepared the 2023 first supplementary budget at 1.3071 trillion won, an increase of 170.4 billion won (15%) from the original budget of 1.1367 trillion won.
This supplementary budget focuses on promoting major pending projects and creating welfare and safety environments.
The total size of the first supplementary budget is 170.4 billion won, of which 154.7 billion won is from the general account and 15.7 billion won from the special account.
Major projects include ▲ 200 million won for the establishment of Ulju County Hospital ▲ 1.1 billion won for the construction of training center and dormitory for Ulju Haetteumi Ssireum Team ▲ 300 million won for the construction of Beomseo Guyeong Indoor Badminton Court ▲ 600 million won for the construction and renovation of senior citizen centers ▲ 100 million won to support operating expenses for daycare centers exclusively for zero-year-olds ▲ 900 million won for the expansion of Daedeok Library ▲ 2.6 billion won for land acquisition costs for Sangbuk Sunjeong Reservoir ▲ 2.7 billion won for repair and renovation of Dudong Chiljo Reservoir ▲ 1 billion won for the creation of Yeongnam Alps forest trails ▲ 23.2 billion won for river maintenance ▲ 3.2 billion won for the opening of urban planning roads, etc.
County Governor Lee Soon-geol said, “The first supplementary budget focuses on promoting major pending projects, securing safety in living environments such as river maintenance, and advancing resident welfare projects. Once the budget is confirmed, we will promptly execute it to ensure that various resident wish projects are implemented in a timely manner.”

This supplementary budget is expected to be finalized on the 21st after review by the county council.
