Ulsan City, Please Be Sure to File and Pay Corporate Local Income Tax in April!
Payment and Reporting to Jurisdictional Districts by May 2
Extended Payment Deadline for Export SMEs and Others Until the End of July
Ulsan City, marking April as the month for corporate local income tax filing and payment, has requested that the 2022 corporate local income tax be filed and paid to the relevant district or county from April 1 to May 2.
This year’s filing target corporations are profit-making corporations whose fiscal year ended in December 2022. They must file in writing or electronically to the tax office of the district or county in Ulsan where their business is located by May 2.
To support corporate filing and payment, an online simplified page on Wetax is operated, allowing easy payment via credit card or simple payment methods through Wetax (computer) or Smart Wetax (smartphone) without visiting the district or county office.
In particular, this year, the payment deadline for corporate local income tax will be automatically extended by three months until July 31 for export-oriented small and medium enterprises and small and medium enterprises headquartered in Dong-gu, designated as a special industrial crisis area.
Even if not subject to automatic extension, corporations experiencing difficulties in management due to disasters, theft, etc., can apply for an additional extension within six months.
