New COVID-19 Cases 10,368... About 80 More Than a Week Ago (Update)
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to stabilize, the number of new confirmed cases on the 31st recorded in the low 10,000s, similar to a week ago.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight, there were 10,368 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 30,821,300 cases.
The number of new cases increased by 671 from the previous day (11,039) and by 85 from a week earlier on the 24th (10,283). However, there is still no sign of a surge that could mark the start of a new COVID-19 wave since the last winter outbreak, and the situation is considered to remain stable.
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized decreased by 4 to 139 compared to the previous day.
