GS Retail Supports Successful Hosting of Suncheonman International Garden Expo

GS Retail announced on the 31st that it has signed a business agreement with the organizing committee to fully support the successful hosting of the Suncheonman International Garden Expo.
The Suncheonman International Garden Expo is an eco-friendly ecological expo showcasing gardens and cultures from around the world, centered on Suncheonman, one of the world's five major coastal wetlands. Held for the first time in 10 years since 2013, this expo will take place across three zones: Suncheonman National Garden, Suncheonman Wetland, and the urban area.

GS Retail will promote the Suncheonman International Garden Expo through its official online channels and provide in-kind support for expo operators and volunteers. Events for visitors will also be held through 230 GS25 convenience stores located within the expo zones.
GS Shop will broadcast Namdo travel packages on the opening day, the 1st of next month. The package is thoughtfully organized as a gourmet experience visiting major tourist spots in Suncheon and Yeosu such as Seonamsa Temple, Odongdo Island, and Yi Sun-sin Plaza, along with tasting local representative dishes like Suncheon cockle set meals.

A GS Retail official said, “We understand that 4.4 million domestic and international tourists visited the expo in 2013,” adding, “This year, we will do our best to help even more tourists visit and create unforgettable memories.”
